[Remind-Fans] Overdue items (cont.)

In my search to produce a trigger on my reminders that mirror the
upcoming substitutions (%b, "in 2 days"), but for overdue items (%d,
"due 2 days ago"), I came across this list post:

It's from back in 2005.

I was wondering if there has been any response to this request? Is there
something in the man pages that I'm missing? I'll have a closer look,
but was curious if there had been a clever workaround already.
