Another option, if you are using only characters<br>that appear in the ISO-8859-1 character set (ie, most Western European<br>languages) is to use iconv to conver to ISO-8859-1 and then the "-i"<br>option for rem2ps.<br><br>Given this input file:<br><br> rem 15 MSG étudiant noël français <br><br>Running:<br><br> remind -p /tmp/test.rem | rem2ps -e -l -c3 -i |\<br> iconv -f utf-8 -t iso-8859-1 > /tmp/test.ps<br><br>yields the attached Postscript file.
