[RP-PPPoE] pppoe interface name change

Hello,

I am running the scripts pppoe-setup and pppoe-start for creating a pppoe
session on one of my interfaces eth7.

1.  I see an interface with the name ppp0 created  (verified with
ifconfig).
2.  Is there a way I could create the interface with a different name ?
something like eth7.ppp0 ?

 Sorry my software needs to track of the interface name and do some
actions. Since I have other PPP interfaces also in my system it is
difficult to differentiate the PPPoE interface with the PPP interface from
the ifconfig command o/p.
