[RP-PPPoE] One-to-many or one-to-one relation between PPPoE Session and PPP Session

Is it possible to have one-to-many relation between PPPoE and PPP? Meaning one PPPoE session with many PPP sessions.

My understanding is that there is a one-to-one relation between a PPPoE session and a PPP session. The reason I arrived at this conclusion is that the PPPoE protocol has two stages: discovery and a PPP stage. The only way to enter the PPP stage is after sending a PADS packet. Checking the code, for processing PADR, the roaring penguin code allocs a session from the free list. Moreover there is a single pid for the pppd within the pppoe session.

I appreciate any clarifications
