[Remind-Fans] Running "remind" in server mode

It looks as though I am the only "remind" Newbie who has any
difficulties.  Since adding my name to the list - some months ago - I
have yet to receive a single piece of mail from the list.

In spite of which, I make bold to ask for additional enlightenment that
would make tkremind display its timed reminders at the designated time -
ie invoke remind in "server mode".

The tkremind man page says "supply the z0 option to remind".  The remind
man page says "see the tkremind page".

I fear that these hints are too cryptic for me - especially as "z0" is
not listed among the options that "tkremind" is able to pass on the
command line to "remind".

All additional guidance will be gratefully received.
