I was seeing this, too. I had "BANNER %" in my reminders to hide the
date. Commenting that out, fixed the widget's date display for me.

Thanks, Nick, for this widget. GeekTool is having trouble adjusting to
Tiger for me as well. This'll tide me over nicely!
