[Remind-Fans] multiple daemons

I think I inadvertently (well, I was trying to tweak the reminder popup) 
added many remind daemons running in the background, wondering if there 
is a way to stop them or find them or just have the latest one running.  
In my tests though, I only saw 2 or 3 popups, since many instances were 
stopped (that showed in Terminal)
I am on Ubuntu Dapper and use gxmessage to popup my reminders.
