I started using it a few months ago, after finally giving up on Sunbird 
and other ical-based calendars that can't interact without corrupting 
data (an issue that might have been avoided if the standard had been 
XML-based).

Now, all I do is edit my reminders file in vim and type "make all". My 
Makefile then publishes the HTML & PDF versions to my web site and 
emails a daily list and weekly overview to me. I can add new events in 
seconds, without a single mouse click. Very sweet.
