[Remind-Fans] advance warnings

Hi all.

I am using remind for some years now. Very nice tool.
But unfortunately, I never managed to get advance warnings
working (even ones generated by tkremind) like:

REM TAG TKTG1 6 September 2007 +4 AT 10:05 MSG test-ahead

This will work only on September 6th, but not on the 4 days before,
why?

I am running remind as a demon:
remind -z /home/sven/.reminders >& .reminders.log &

> osinfo
SUSE LINUX release 10.0 on i586 (2.6.13-15.16-default)
