I commented out the definitions in globals.h, added them in funcs.c and
commented out the six lines in var.c (I've not read that code that was
just a quick hack to get it to compile) so that the six variables are
locally defined in funcs.c and I'm now getting the right results
(Sunrise at 07:22, Sunset at 16:15).
