TkRemind uses the TAG field to edit the reminders file.  (It uses it to keep
track of where the block of code for a reminder begins and ends; see the
source code.)

One of the big limitations of Remind is you can only have one TAG per
REM statement.  Ideally, you should be able to have as many TAGs as
you like so front-end programs can use their own TAGs for their own
purposes.
