OK.  I'm not the author of that script, which is why it's in the contrib/
section.  The URL http://mark.atwood.name/code/rem2ics is dead,
but I did find this:

That might be the place to report bugs (or indeed, fork rem2ics if nobody
is maintaining it any more.)
