My only concern is that two or three "saves" will (or might) still lose
the original version. I'm probably better off doing it manually, saving
off a ".good" version before I do anything stupid.

Yes, same terminal that tkremind ran from.
I completely forgot that gvim exists. :( My workflow is primarily
text-based, and i've been using "remint.sh" that somebody else wrote whose
name I can't find at the moment. But tkremind is just ... so nice ...
