I've made this commit in Remind:
https://git.skoll.ca/Skollsoft-Public/Remind/commit/e3ec6565e9d19bb6eb9df9910afe008ba1694632
This lets you say:
remind '-k:notify-send %s' ...
The colon after -k will make Remind handle non-queued reminders normally
(ie, it'll just print them to the terminal) but invoke notify-send for
queued reminders that get triggered.
I hope to release Remind 04.02.04 in the next few days.
Regards,
Dianne.
