That's really pretty cool. :) I am retired now, so no $DAYJOB but when
I had one, I'd bring my work calendar into Remind with a cron job and
color it differently.
I also (much to my surprise) find myself hardly ever using Remind as a
console program. 99% of my interaction with it is via the TkRemind GUI.
I still hand-edit the .reminder/ files on occasion, but almost never
run Remind directly from the command-line.
