Yeah, I've used remind(1) in a daily cron job where cron can't
adequately specify the dates I want (e.g. every N days, or
OMIT/SKIP/BEFORE/AFTER type logic), invoking a custom remind-file
for such cases and firing RUN directives as needed. The custom
.rem file isn't part of my regular calendar, but just there for
more precise calendar control on certain cron jobs.
