[RP-PPPoE] pppoe-server problems

Hello.

I am trying to setup a test configuration between two PCs. The server
is a recent install of debian with the most recent rp-pppoe software
off the website. The client is running the most recent Damn Small
Linux live cd, which includes version 3.5 of the pppoe client
software.

The client and server can successfully negotiate a PPPoE connection,
by exchanging PADS/O/etc, but after that is setup, it seems that
pppoe-server is not spawning a pppd child process. Examining tcpdump,
I can see the client sending LCP conf requests, but no rpely comes
from the server, and pppd is not running.

My /etc/ppp/pppoe-server-options consists of:

noauth
lcp-echo-interval
lcp-echo-failure 2

I'm running the server with the command

pppoe-server -F -I eth1 -S Test

Any help or suggestions to my problem would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Travis
