Hi David,
Thanks for the reply. If I invoke on the normal Linux PC using command
./pppd pty 'pppoe -I eth1' it works. Please see below.
/usr/sbin # ./pppd pty 'pppoe -I eth1'
Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded.
RP-PPPoE plugin version 3.3 compiled against pppd 2.4.4
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/7
The real issue is that on the target where I want to execute the
rp=pppoe.so is not getting loaded. Hence my question is how to create
rp-pppoe.so for different target (using cross compiler), and make 'pppd'
on that target to run with 'pppoe' option like " ./pppd pty 'pppoe -I
eth1' ".
HOW TO CREATE rp-pppoe.so for different environment and how to link this
plugin with pppd for different environment.
Thanks
Chaitra

I believe the SYNOPSIS section of "man pppoe" will show you where you
went wrong.

David.
