At first glance, very.  It looks like it would require cooperation
deep into the kernel PPP stack and pppd.  So I think it's very unlikely
these will ever be implemented.

Aha... there is this:

but I see no trace of source code.  The binary package includes
rp-pppoe, so whoever's in charge of that project is violating
the GPL.  I will get in touch.
