Hi,
I'm out of town. Just pointing out that rp-pppoe is compatible with both ppp 2.5.0 and ppp <2.5.0.
Regards,
Dianne.

Eg, we need to match version 4.0 against ppp 2.5.0 and 3.15 against <2.5.0 ... so depending on what version of ppp is being used by the distribution this has to be matched. Incidentally, gentoo allows for multiple versions, and currently for the time being until 2.5.0 is considered stable I won't be able stable rp-pppoe 4.0 and thus need to keep 3.15 around for the time being at least, and the ppp maintainers need to keep 2.4.9 around until I've removed rp-pppoe 3.15 from the tree which I can only do 60 days after stabling 4.0 (and I generally wait longer just because I'd rather look at the older version and not need it, than need it and not have it).
