ICE Incarcerates Newborn Born on US-Bound Flight
New York, NY, 2026-04-20—ICE agents have taken a newborn into custody after he was born on a New York-bound flight from Amsterdam. The four-hour old baby named Alex Robinson, arrived unexpectedly early over the Atlantic Ocean as his mother, 33-year-old Jennifer Leandros gave birth.
Both Ms. Leandros and Alex's father, Trevor Robinson, are US citizens. But because little Alex arrived without a passport or documentation papers of any kind, he was taken into custody by ICE agents.
An official for ICE, who requested anonymity, said: "We have rules about undocumented immigrants here in the USA. And arriving without a passport, a driver's license or even a birth certificate is the very definition of undocumented!"
Several witnesses from the flight came forward to testify that Alex was born on board, but ICE said "That part of the Atlantic Ocean is not US territory. Therefore, this individual was born outside of the USA."
The ICE official continued: "These newborns may look innocent, but we have no idea what nefarious plans they are thinking up. Do not be deceived by their size; they have the potential to become very dangerous in only about 18 years!"
Alex's parents have filed a lawsuit against ICE, but in a setback for the couple, a Trump-appointed judge named Elias Whittaker said their case could not proceed unless the couple paid $5,000 for the fine of "enabling an undocumented person to enter the United States" and donated a matching $5,000 towards the building of Donald Trump's "Arc de Trump" in Washington DC.
At press time, Alex had no comment other than to express outrage and anger. He is facing additional charges for spitting up on an ICE agent's uniform.
