[Remind-Fans] Quick add in Wyrd and Scandinavian characters

I sometimes use the quick reminder function in Wyrd as a convenient tool 
to add short tasks and other stuff, but the Scandinavian characters æ, ø 
and å doesn't seem to work here. They are displayed correctly in the 
main window in Wyrd, but on the quick reminder command line they are not 
displayed at all, and are not entered in the .reminders file either. Is 
there a setting somewhere that can be done to correct this?
