Just to throw my 2 pence in,

I use a Git client on my phone which lets me edit .rem files

Now, I do need a computer to actually convert them but I have 2 outputs 
I use on my phone:

text file: rem -s+52 -b1 -h 2020-01-01 | cut -d ' ' -f1,6- > cal.txt 
(Kudos to Tim Chase for the cut tip!)
html page: rem -p12 -m -b1 -h 2020-01-01 | rem2html > cal.html

I've played with the .css file to make it more mobile friendly but it 
does a good job out of the box. The text calendar is simple and is 
really useful when searching for something
