The sample file I used contains only 2 lines one in greek and one in
english:
$more test.rem
REM OMIT Sat Sun MSG καθημερινή υπενθύμιση - ελληνικά
REM OMIT Sat Sun MSG daily reminder - greek
Here's the output of my 'locale' (ubuntu 10.04):
deracled at apcy2502-lx:~$ locale
LANG=el_GR.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=
my remind version(compiled with the customized langs/greek.h to get the
day names in greek):
REMIND 03.01.10 (Greek version) Copyright 1992-1998 David F. Skoll
Copyright 1999-2010 Roaring Penguin Software Inc.
And also attached a screenshot of "remind -cu+1 -w120 test.rem" and a
pdf file generated like this:
remind -p test.rem | uniconv -decode utf-8 -encode iso-8859-7 | rem2ps
-fshted GreekArialPlain -i -mA4 | ps2pdf -dCompatibility=1.4 - test.pdf
Thanks
Doros
