[Remind-Fans] Recently added left-to-right marks in calendar-view?

I upgraded my packages on FreeBSD yesterday and noticed that my
calendar output is now thrown off because my there now seem to be
some left-to-right Unicode characters (piped through `hexdump -C`
they're "e2 80 8e" as shown below) appearing in the output after each
event. My xterm (using the "clean" font and -u8 for utf8 encodings)
doesn't seem to render them appropriately (see attached screenshot).
In suckless term (st) they seem to render fine.

I tried it with a variety of fonts and the behavior seems consistent
in xterm, so I suspect it's an xterm rendering thing rather than a
Remind or font-face thing.

This is likely a good addition to Remind for international users who
might use RTL text, but the rendering hiccup is a bit irksome.

Has anybody else encountered this or have a solution for coercing
xterm into rendering LTR properly?

Thanks,

-Tim
