[RP-PPPoE] rp-pppoe slows down Latence

Hello,

iam new to rp-pppoe, i installed it on a Ubuntu 10.10 TLS system and it works.

Now, here is my Problem:
if i establish the pppoe connect from the Router i get a ping of 38 ms.
now i let my server establish the pppoe connect, and i get now 50-60 ms.
(same host)

where and what i have to tune on the server to come closer to the latence of the Router from my isp ?
