I do not like that patch; there should be a separate option for
specifying a user-defined Host-Uniq because most of the time,
users are not interested in picking the value; they want rp-pppoe
to generate a Host-Uniq by itself.

Something like:

-U         Behaves as it does now: system chooses a Host-Uniq
-W <uniq>  Allows user to specify Host-Uniq

-U and -W should be mutually-exclusive.
