Your sample reminder above works fine for me in wyrd.

I'm running wyrd 1.4.1 and remind 03.00.24 on Mac OS 10.4.8. Perhaps
upgrading to wyrd 1.4.1 will fix it for you, although I see nothing in
the changelog that would indicate this.
