I remember examining the issue of non-Gregorian holidays back in
college, long ago. I didn't look at the Orthodox dates, but I found
that the regular Catholic holidays could each be defined as a fixed
numbers of days before or after Easter, and I think the Hebrew
holidays could similarly be defined relative to Passover. I would
imagine the same probably applies to the Orthodox holidays.
